Here are some tips to help you and your family start eating healthier:

Enjoy meals together. When everyone sits down together to eat, there’s less chance of children eating the wrong foods or snacking too much.

Get kids involved in cooking and planning meals. Everyone develops good eating habits together and the quality time with the family will be a bonus.

Eating healthier at home starts with the ingredients you use. Many favorite recipes can be made healthier by substituting ingredients.

When you use oils for cooking, baking or in dressings or spreads, choose healthier oils — which include olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil , hemp oil, and grass-fed butter.

Limit added sugars in your family’s diet.

Sugar-sweetened beverages are the largest source of added sugars for most of us, so reduce or cut out soda, sports drinks, energy drinks and fruit drinks as well as enhanced waters, sweetened teas and sugary coffee drinks. Drink more plain water instead.

  • What are We Testing For?

    Through our analysis, we are testing your body’s neurological reflexes. These reflexes are the body’s way of telling us what and how your nervous system is doing – as it is the nervous system’s responsibility to regulate the body’s functions for each organ. The testing includes organs, glands, joints, muscles, etc.


    These reflexes are tested on the surface of the body and then the findings are analysed.

  • How do We Get the Body’s “Reflex” Information?

    Energy flows exist between all parts and organs of the body. These flows can become disrupted for a variety of reasons. This is easily discovered with our testing.


    As a Nutrition Response Testing SM practitioner, we will do a full body scan to properly assess each of your reflexes.


    The practitioner will do the analysis by contracting your extended arm with one hand and contact the specific reflex with the other hand. If the tested reflex is stressed, your nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the extended area (which will weaken and cause it to drop). A drop of the arm indicates underlying stress or dysfunction in that area which can be affecting your health.


    Once the underlying stress is corrected, this weak muscle response will no longer occur.


    Since we directly use the body for analysis, (versus doing lab tests) it is faster and tends to be just as (if not more) accurate. There are also no huge expensive machines, no drugs, surgery, nasty needles, or laboratory fees to cover.

  1. Recent research indicates eating pine nuts can help reduce appetite. Poor sleep can increase appetite by altering hormone change.
  2. It takes 20 minutes for your brain to send a signal to your stomach that “you are full.” Research shows that it takes an average 15 minutes for most women to finish a meal, so when you feel full after eating, you already ate more than you should. Eat slowly and each meal is better. Do not eat longer than 20 minutes to avoid overeating.
  3. Breakfast – eat like a King; Lunch – eat like a Princess; Dinner – eat like a Beggar. Eat your biggest meal between 7-9a.m. This will help boost the metabolism the most. Make sure you have some carbohydrates and protein for breakfast. It is important for you to eat regularly to avoid fat storage. If you don’t provide your body with fuel, after four hours your body will think it is starving and will slow down your metabolism. When you finally do eat, your body will hang on to the food preparing for another starvation period.
  4. Caffeine and sweets are a dieter’s enemy! Sweets will stimulate the release of insulin which also encourages the storage of fats.
